Juan Figueroa, Murphy Troy and Jimmy Killian, three USC men's volleyball standouts, were honored for their play in Mountain Pacific Sports Federation this season.
Senior outside hitter and four-year starter Figueroa was named to the All-MPSF third team for the second consecutive season after leading the Trojans with 450 kills this season. Arguably the Trojans' best all-around player, he also was second on the team in aces (21) and digs (178) as well as fourth in blocks (69).
Freshman Troy was also named to the third team, finishing second on the team in kills with 430 and first in aces with 35. Troy had his best outing of the year when he registered 32 kills on back-to-back nights against Hawaii on March 21 and 22.
Senior setter Killian, co-captain along with Figueroa, was named to the honorable mention squad. He led the Trojans this season with 1,314 assists and finished his four-year career with 4,820, a rally scoring era record.
USC was eliminated from the MPSF playoffs April 16 after falling 3-2 to UC Irvine.
